about the above case, I really must tell you that I feel
very dissatisfied with what happened at the Privy Council.
You will remember that I was sent for just as Coun sel
were going into the Chaaber, and asked to concur in a
settlement; and you will probably agree that, having

no option but to assent. I felt at the time, and I
still feel, however, that his objections were as much
